Hi, I'm Charlotte.

A born and bred Memphian, I’ve had a fully formed opinion on a few things—namely barbecue and college basketball—since before I could talk. Give me a pulled pork sandwich and a Tigers game, and I’m good to go.

Back in 2006, I left home to attend Vanderbilt University and in turn became a huge fan of both the ‘Dores and the city of Nashville. Hung my hat there for a couple years after graduation, worked for cheap, and spent most of my time hanging out with this good-lookin’ dude

Now I’m back in my homeland, getting reacquainted with the Delta blues and looking for work in the education non-profit world (here or elsewhere -- holla if you’re hiring!).

Passionate about education and service, I am always on the lookout for experiences geared toward student development and community engagement. I cut my teeth at the high school and college levels promoting the idea of active citizenship and cultivating in my students the desire to work for meaningful and effective change.

I enjoy traveling, storytelling, and jumping in heartfirst. I get excited about the little things in life, too. Like knowing that a dress with pockets is a million times better than one without. And appreciating that hot chocolate is best enjoyed near a fire with friends. And believing in your heart that a greeting card, no matter how cheesy, should always be well-received.
